We’re so proud to celebrate a special milestone moment – the launch of Sophie Jayne Miller’s debut cookbook, Simply Scrumptious, in partnership with Booktopia.
For Soph, this has been a journey years in the making. Her love of food began long before this launch. From putting together her very first cookbook as a high school project, to creating her own e-book in 2020, to now holding her very own Simply Scrumptious in her hands. Each step has been a reflection of her passion for creating recipes that are approachable and flavourful, and it has been amazing watching this full circle moment in her career.
Sophie’s Vision
What made this project so special was Sophie’s clear vision. She didn’t just want to release a cookbook, she wanted to create something beautiful that could live on in people’s homes. Simply Scrumptious is more than just a recipe book, it’s a book you can display in your kitchen or coffee table, and something for you to create memories with your close ones.
Working with the incredible team at Booktopia, Sophie was given a seat at the table when it came to the making of the cookbook, ensuring her ideas guided every step. From recipe creation and testing, to preparing each dish for the photoshoot (this was a wild ride behind the scenes), we were inspired watching Sophie’s vision come to life.

Why we do it
Being part of Simply Scrumptious has been an honour. We’ve learned first-hand how much goes into creating a cookbook – from recipe development, to testing, to design, to execution. It’s a slow, detailed, rewarding process, and seeing Sophie’s dedication every step of the way has been so inspiring.
